Ambassadors
The public figures who join the movement play a key role in increasing
the Club’s visibility across various communication channels, inspiring
children, and highlighting the importance of a nutritious breakfast
in supporting academic success. Their support and passion allow
the Club to amplify its reach and strengthen its relationship with the
general public. Spotlight on their commitment:
Kevin Sin, comedian
A former Club beneficiary, Kevin donned his apron to lend a hand to volunteers at
Beausoleil-et-du-Parc elementary school in Quebec City. He also made the most
of his visit by giving a short talk in class and inspiring the students. This initiative
got coverage in the daily Le Soleil. During the year, Kevin also shared his history
with the Club in two Quebec magazines, La Semaine and Cool!, and in a Studio
SF podcast.
Elizabeth Hosking, snowboarder, Olympic athlete
Ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, Elizabeth invited the Radio-Canada
team behind the scenes of a breakfast program at École Saint-Joseph
in Sainte-Adèle, in the Laurentians, Quebec, to do a profile on her
preparation process as an athlete. Earlier in the year, Elizabeth also gave
an interview with the Quebec magazine Cool! about the impact of a
program during her school days.
Stephanie Liu, family physician
As part of Nutrition Month, Stephanie spoke on The Morning
Show to highlight the benefits of breakfast programs for
children’s health.
