This is a twist on the classic
strawberry banana smoothie!
This smoothie brings together protein, whole
grains and fruit for a satisfying breakfast!
Ingredients
Ingredients
| 1.8 kg (12 cups) strawberries
| 135 g (11⁄2 cups) oats (quick cook or old
fashioned)
| 12 bananas
| 1 kg (6 cups) melon of your choice
| 1 L (4 cups) milk or soy beverage
Directions
1. Excluding the milk, combine all ingredients for
each smoothie in a resealable bag and freeze.
2. Once frozen, remove from freezer and
blend with milk until smooth. Add more
milk if needed.
| 1,125 L (41⁄2 cups) milk or soy beverage
| 90 ml (6 tbsp) soy nut or seed butter
(sunflower, pumpkin, etc.)
| 6 bananas
| 6 cups ice
| A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg (optional)
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend about 1 minute until smooth.
Enjoy immediately.
